Beverly M. Durnakowski
MONSON- Beverly M. Durnakowski, 79, died December 4, 2013, at C.A. Dean Hospital in Greenville. She was born in Portland, November 5, 1934, the daughter of Edgar and Helene (Sargent) Hilton.

She worked for many years in the kitchen at Bridgeton Memorial Hospital. She was an avid knitter and crocheter, and won many ribbons and awards at the Fryeburg Fair for her handiwork. Beverly spent the past 9 years living at Riverbend Apartments in Guilford, where she was active in many events and made many friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise Knight and her husband, Eric of Naples; 3 sons, Ed Martin and his wife, Marcia of Monson, Alan Martin and his wife, Robin of Harrison, and Stan Durnakowski and his wife, Rhiannon of Bridgeton. She was the very proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, Leslie, Aaron, Ian, Johannah, Kyla, Colton, Melissa, Ashley, Cody, Jessica and Michael; and 2 great grandchildren, Braydon and Evan. She was also survived by 4 sisters, Shirley Bean of Conway, NH, Dorice Millard and her husband, Stuart of FL, Donna Schofield of VT, and Vivian Head and her husband, Jeff of SC; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Martin; her second husband, Eugene Durnakowski; an infant daughter, Kay; a son, Ricky; and a brother, Clyde. No public services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to C.A. Dean Hospital, P.O. Box 1129, Greenville, ME 04441.
