Brenda Jean Storen Brenda graduated from East Bridgewater [MA] High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family, countless hours of quiet time talking with her daughter, Sunday night dinners and barbeques with her son, teaching her daughter to cook, and playing with her devoted dog Holly. She enjoyed picking out flowers or special gifts for family members. She loved four-wheeling, snowmobiling, gardening and other outdoor activities. Brenda was a free spirited, exceptionally strong, giving, caring, selfless, outgoing, fun, good person. She was an incredible spirit to all those that she encountered. She loved life and her family. Anyone who knew her was lucky to have had that time. Brenda’s love, dignity, and exceptionally strong character never faltered as she fought to the end stages of her illness. She could sometimes be stubborn; a tough cookie but always a protector of those she loved. Brenda is survived by her loving husband Lonnie Storen; her children, Sam Baker, his wife Megan, and their son Wyatt Baker, all of Corinna; and Sarah Baker of Winslow; her mother of Carver, MA; her sisters Debbie Correia of Wareham MA, Pam Benjamin of Corinna, Mary Williams of Weymouth, MA, and Patty Bouchard of Manchester, NH; a brother Dan Coulstring of Skowhegan; many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Friends may call from 2 to 4 P.M. Sunday, February 10th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Monday with Rev. Abiel Martinez officiating.
