BRYANT U. DREW, SR.
Dexter: Bryant U. Drew Sr. 80 died April 2, 2005 at a Bangor hospital following a brief period of ill health. He was born in Corinna Oct 5, 1924 the son of Ralph E. and Marjorie (Bryant) Drew. He was educated in Corinna schools. Bryant was a WW II U.S. Navy veteran serving in the South Pacific. He was married for 56 years to Lena M. Drew who died March 26, 2001. Bryant worked for Georgia Pacific at the Plywood factory in Eugene Oregon for many years. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by two sons Bryant U. Drew of Milo, Preston H Drew of Garland, one sister Luella Drew of Corinna, 7 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Marilee Babcock in 2001 and also two brothers Carroll, Dale, and two sisters Louise and Drucilla.

Friends may call Tuesday April 5, 2005 from 6 to 7 Pm at the Brown Funeral Home 34 High St. Newport. Graveside services will be conducted later in the spring at Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
