CAROL J. HOLT She leaves 4 children, Patti Holt of Greenville, Karen Green and her husband, Edward of Holmes Beach, FL, Roger Holt of Corinth, and Steven Holt of Orlando, FL; also her "other daughter" , Penny Legere of Greenville; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Arey and his wife, Stephanie, Timothy Arey and his wife, Jessica, Timothy Green, Donald Green, Amanda Holt, and Adam Holt; 6 great grandchildren, Logan, Jacob, Nicholas, Natasha, Julius and Joselynn; 3 sisters, Winifred Gagnier of Millinocket, Donna Whitehouse and her husband, Robert of Bangor, and Nancy Vachon and her husband, Robert of Orrington; also many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Carol was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Margaret Hikel; and 2 brothers, Guy "Junie" Dicentes, and Edward "Bing" Dicentes. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the Greenville Chapel of Crosby & Neal, located at the Masonic Building, with Pastor Ron Remer officiating. Graveside services will be held 1 PM, Thursday at the Millinocket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to C.A. Dean Hospital, P.O. Box 1129, Greenville, ME 04441. GREENVILLE- Carol J. Holt, 80, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010, at her home in Greenville. She was born November 7, 1929, in Millinocket, daughter
of Guy and Orissey (Powers) Dicentes. There were never enough hours in a day for Carol to live life and there was never enough of Carol to give to life. She loved the role of being "Mom" to many others besides her own children. Her heart was huge and her home always welcoming. For many years Carol enjoyed being a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
