CARROLL WALTER MOORE
ABBOT, Carroll Walter Moore, 81, died January 15, 2008 at his home in Abbot. He was born in Abbot on February 3, 1926, son of Gayland Moore Sr. and Ione (Bennett) Moore. He graduated from Guilford High School, Class of 1944, and served in the U.S. Air Force. On June 7, 1952 he married Joyce (Clark) Moore.

He worked for 46 years as a self-employed electrician. He liked the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and enjoyed many camping trips.

He is by his wife of Abbot; two sons, John C. Moore of Monson and Jeffrey C. Moore of Abbot; three grandchildren, Reggie, John II, and Jennifer; four great grandchildren, Zach, Alli, Alexander, and Makalya; and a brother, Roderick of Farmington.

At his request there will be no visitation or public services. Spring burial will be in the Blanchard Cemetery in Abbot. Donations in memory of Carroll may be made to Community Health and Counseling, Hospice Program, 14 Summer Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426.
