CHANDLER S. GOULD
SANGRERVILLE - Chandler S. Gould, 81, died December 8, 2000, at a Dexter health care facility. He was born September 4, 1919 in Exeter, son of Byron and Gertrude (Smith) Gould. He retired from Pitney-Bowes Co. in Stamford, Conn. He made his summer home with his wife at Davis Pond, Guilford and was known as the "Mayor" of the Davis Pond Assn. In the winter they rented a small house in Sangerville where they attended the Grace Bible Church. He so enjoyed his wife, the cottage, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maxine (Ducette) Gould of Sangerville; two sons and their wives, Chandler Jr. and Marie Gould of North Carolina and Michael and Simone Gould of Conn; five grandchildren, Erick and Beth Gould of Washington, Steven and Christina Gould of Virginia, James Gould of N. Carolina, Israel and Nancy Gould of Conn., and Michele and Robert Lombardi of Conn; two sisters-in-law, Nellie Webb and Yvonne Bennett both of Guilford; two brothers and their wives, Paul and Yanna Gould and Bodie and Jan Gould all of California; two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tues at the funeral home with Rev. David Kelly officiating. Spring burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dexter Health Care Facility, 64 Park St., Dexter, ME 04930.
