CHARLES A. BRALEY, SR
GUILFORD, Charles A. Braley, Sr. 75, died January 17, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born November 14, 1926, in Glenburn, son of Willard and Estelle (Taylor) Braley.He served in the US Army and was a member of the Stott-Flanders American Legion Post #165 in Sangerville.Charles worked for several years for Guilford of Maine and later worked for Pride Manufacturing in Guilford until his retirement in 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Grant) Braley of Guilford; a son, Charles Braley Jr. and wife, Mindy of Guilford; 2 daughters, Linda and her husband Bruce Stevens of Guilford and Charlene Braley of Sangerville;; 4 grandchildren, Ashley and Brock Stevens, Natasha and Mikayla Braley; 5 sisters and a brother many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by 6 brothers and a sister.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at the United Methodist Church in Guilford with the Rev. Dr. Margaret “Dodie” Stowe officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maine Parkinson Society, Maine Health Learning Resource Center, Maine Medical Center-Scarborough, 100 US Rt. #1 Unit #106, Scarborough, ME 04074-9308. Spring burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Sangerville. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
