CHARLES L. A. "WOODY" WOODMANCY He is survived by his parents of Abbot, formerly of E. Hartford, CT; his wife of eight and a half years, Rose (Dixon) Woodmancy; 3 brothers, Darrin and his wife Judy of Marlborough, CT, Keith and his wife Joan of Enfield, CT, Christopher and his wife Erin of East Hartford, CT; 4 very special nieces, Amanda and Sarahanne of Enfield, CT, Rachel and Anna of Marlborough, CT; 2 uncles, Norman Parent of Hudson, FL, and Roland and his wife Ann Marie of Glastonbury, CT; 2 step children, Amy and her husband O.J. Porter and a special step grandchild Allyssa, also Richard Getchell of Wichita, Kansas; a special family friend, Ken Smith of Hudson, FL. Chuck also leaves many good friends in Connecticut and in Maine, and will be missed by everyone. There will be no calling hours. Friends and family will meet at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville, Maine, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM, Friday, July 7, 2006, with the Rev. Fr. James Robichaud officiating. Burial will be in the Blanchard Cemetery on the Davidson Road in Abbot. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to Penobscot Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, PO Box 368, Lincoln, ME 04457.
