CHRISTIAN E. "CHRIS" NICK
WILLIMANTIC- Christian E. "Chris" Nick, 58, died February 28, 2010 at his home in Willimantic, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born September 13, 1951, in Newton, NJ, son of George and Sarah (Snover) Nick.

He was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman and enjoyed watching the N.E. Patriots, and the Boston Red Sox. Chris worked for Guilford Industries for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kira (Conway) Nick of Willimantic; 3 daughters, Lily Schofield of Willimantic, Amanda Schofield of Greenville, and Trisha Cabral and her husband, Joey of NH; a son, Jesse Nick of NH; 6 grandchildren, Austin, Matthew, Dylan, Noah, Katelyn, and Kadra; a nephew, Jeff Nick of Quebec, Canada; and a sister, Gladys Nick of MO. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, George.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1 to 5 PM, Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his home in Willimantic.
