COURTNEY M. McCANN
GUILFORD, Courtney M. McCann, 85, died December 14, 2004, at her home in Guilford. She was born January 2, 1919, in Abbot, the daughter of Harry and Louise (Looke) Crabtree. She worked as a spooler, dresser and pattern maker at several of the local mills. She enjoyed their camp at Piper Pond and the family gatherings.

She is survived by a son, Harry Collins of Guilford; 2 daughters and their husbands, June and Eric Small of Sandwich, Massachusetts and Judith and Dana Danforth of Belfast; 2 sisters, Althea Rogers of Monson, and Marie Carlson of Guilford; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great great grandson; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Alonzo Collins and her second husband John McCann; 3 brothers, Colby, Howard, and Gilbert Crabtree; 2 sisters, Winnona Burnham, and Enola Hayden.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to Pinetree Hospice-Dover, 14 Summer Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
