CRAIG A. BREWER
NEWPORT & ST. PETERSBURG, FL—Craig A. Brewer, 20, died unexpectedly January 29, 2006 at a St. Petersburg, FL hospital as the result of a construction accident. He was born March 29, 1985 at Waterville and was raised in Newport. He attended Nokomis Regional High. Craig was active in the Newport Boy Scouts and excelled in local sports, especially baseball and basketball. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, De-De Brewer of Sanford; a daughter, Lillian Brewer, age 2, of Pittsfield; his grandparents, Wayne and Sally Brewer of Newport; an aunt and uncle, Wade and Jennifer Brewer; and two nieces Kaitlin and Lauren Brewer, all of Newport; great grandmothers, Gretchen Brewer of Newport, and Jean McGinnis Neal of Detroit; a great uncle, Everett McGinnis and wife Teresa of Detroit; a step-dad, Ryan Polley and 2 step-brothers, Ryan and Celso Polley, all of Sanford.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, February 3rd, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with the Rev. George Darling officiating.. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon Friday until the time of services. Spring burial will be in the family lot, Palmyra Village Cemetery. Spring graveside committal services for Craig A. Brewer, who died unexpectedly January 29, 2006, and Wayne M. Brewer, who died unexpectedly March 19, 2006, will be conducted jointly 10 AM Saturday, May 6th, at the Palmyra Village Cemetery with the Rev. George Darling officiating.
