OBITUARIES

REV. DANIEL G. ELLINGWOOD
EXETER – Rev. Daniel G. Ellingwood, 59, died unexpectedly Dec. 28, 2008 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born June 18, 1949 at Carmel a son of Harry and Harriet (Maloon) Ellingwood. He graduated from Ellington High School in CT, Class of 1967, and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later graduated from Faith School of Theology in Charleston.

Daniel also worked for a number of years as a stitcher at Dexter Shoe Company. He was a member of the West Levant Church of God.

In addition to his father of North Carolina, he is survived by his parents, Harriet and Ronald King of Exeter; a brother Leroy of CT; a sister, Rose and husband Wayne Heal of Dexter; 4 nephews, Darrell, Robert, Jonathan and David; a niece Lisa; 4 grand nephews, Bryan, Josh, Christopher and Justin; and 3 grand nieces, Ricci, Sabrina, and Shawna. Daniel was predeceased by a brother Clifford.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, where funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 31st, with the Rev. Frank Gould officiating. A spring military committal service will be held at Exeter Center Cemetery.
