David C. Hansen
GREENVILLE JCT.- David C. Hansen, 66, died unexpectedly April 23, 2012, at his home in Greenville Jct., with his wife by his side. He was born July 23, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, son of Arthur and Esther (Anderson) Hansen.

He attended schools in New City, New York and moved to California in 1969, for the sunny weather, girls and cars. He owned over 60 cars, and restored cars, many of which were owned by celebrities, including Bill Cosby and Jay Leno.

In 1993 he met the love of his life, Marsha (Loane) Hansen. They moved to Greenville Jct., Maine in 2003, to be near family and a simpler way of life. Dave changed professions from restoring cars to refurbishing his 1910 home. He grew to love living in "small town" Greenville, Maine. Many people will remember him from Morrell's Hardware, where he worked with his chocolate lab, Thor, the official store greeter.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Greenville, Jct.; son, Todd Hansen and his wife, Malin, and granddaughter, Emily all of Stockholm, Sweden; and many special cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be held 6 PM, Friday, May 4, 2012, at the Church of the Open Bible in Greenville. Also, there will be a benefit supper Saturday, May 5th, at the American Legion in Greenville, from 5 to 7 PM.
