DAVID M. CASH
NEWPORT - David Milton Cash, 58, died October 15, 2006 at his residence following a long illness. He was born June 10, 1948 at Portland a son of John and Ethel (Jones) Cash. David graduated from Portland High School in 1967 and married the former Susan Bickford on June 3, 1972. He had been employed by the Dexter Shoe Company for 33 years.

He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Newport. David enjoyed agricultural fairs and had collected lighthouses and classic cars from the 50’s and 60’s.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, John and wife Angela of Newport, and Kevin of Augusta; as well as 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 24th, at Calvary Baptist Church, 39 Grove Street, Newport, with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating.

Friends may call at the church from 10 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
