DAVID N. BATCHELDER
GARLAND - David N. Batchelder, 74, the husband of the late Geneva (Voisine) Batchelder, died Jan. 15, 2004, at the V.A. Hospital in Togus. He was born Sept. 14, 1929, in Stetson, the son of Norman and Elsie (Lane) Batchelder. He was an Army veteran and served in Korea.

He is survived by four brothers, Keith Batchelder of Abbott, Gary Batchelder of Hartland, Maurice Batchelder and his wife, Peggy of Hartland and Thomas Batchelder and his wife, Joyce, of Skowhegan; two sisters, Therolin Leavitt and her husband, Earl, of Palmyra and Dorothy Turner and her husband, Herbert, of Bath; a special friend, Louise Baker of Pittsfield and many nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Theron Melvin.

There are no scheduled services. Cremation arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Togus Veteran's Home, One V.A. Center, Togus, ME 04430.
