DAVID W. KNOWLES
ABBOT, David W. Knowles, 49, died unexpectedly on November 7, 2004 at his favorite place in the world, his camp on Whetstone Pond. He was born June 17, 1955, the son of Robert and Marilyn Knowles. David was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying the outdoors all of his life.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Marilyn and William Haskell of Guilford; a sister and her husband Linda and Frank Gilbert of Abbot; nieces, Kristen Snowden from Guilford, Pam Gilbert of Nevada, and Peggy Bowley of Guilford, and nephew Gus Snowden of Abbot; several aunts and uncles. David is also survived by Rusty, his beloved dog, and very close friends Ralph Williams, Steve Ramsay, and David Marchand. He was predeceased by his father Robert D. Knowles, and a brother Michael D. Knowles.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street, Guilford. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 11th at 10 AM at the Blanchard Cemetery in Abbot with Rev. Ray Beless officiating.
