DEAN S. PIERCE SR He married Ruth MacKay of Old Town, June 8, 1943, and raised four children, Dean Jr., Elizabeth, Christine and Patricia. Dean spent his youth and early adulthood in the Northeast and settled in the greater twin cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minn. Dean maintained his career into his 80s in addition to being an active participant in his children's and grandchildren's endeavors. His spouse of 60 years, son, daughters and their respective spouses plus 10 grandchildren of greater Minneapolis - St. Paul, Minn., survive him. In addition he leaves his older brother, Reynold N. of E. Parsonsfield; and his younger sister, Helen Pierce Morin of Ocean Park. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
