DONALD JOHNSTON
MILO- Donald Johnston, 84, died July 20, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Bangor, August 16, 1925, son of Leon and Grace Johnston.

He worked for the railroad as an engineer and brakeman for many years, and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Barbara (Philbrook) Johnston.

He is survived by 2 sons and their wives, Larry and Cathy Johnston of Sebec, and Bruce and Vickie Johnston of FL; 2 daughters, Diane Rideout, and Lori Hall and her fiancé, Chris Sprague, all of Milo; a sister, Priscilla Johnson of Bailey Island; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Theresa Rideout of Milo; and his special dog, Midget.
