DONALD L. CAMPBELL
GUILFORD- Donald L. Campbell, 80, died December 19, 2007, at his home in Guilford, surrounded by his family. He was born August 18, 1927, in Guilford, son of Riley and Edna (Rollins) Campbell. Don was a lifelong resident of Guilford where he owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. He also worked in the woods and later worked for the State Highway Department for over 17 years. He was a former selectman for the town of Guilford, and attended the Guilford Center Baptist Church. He was a member and Past Master of Dawn of Hope Grange in North Guilford, and a member of Valley Grange. He was a Past Deputy of the Maine State Grange.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn (Ladd) Campbell of Guilford; 3 sons and their wives, Daniel and Carol Campbell of Hartshorne, OK, Dennis and Deb Campbell of West Chesterfield, NH, and Douglas and Bonnie Campbell of Pelham, NH; a sister, Maxine Tripp of Guilford; 4 grandchildren, David, Scott, Chris and Derek; 3 great grandchildren, Parker, Elizabeth, and Reese.

Friends may call Friday, December 21, 2007, from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 7 PM at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street, Guilford. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, at the funeral home with Pastor David Lassell and Dennis Campbell officiating. Spring burial will be held Friday May 9, 2008 at 1 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery in Guilford.
