DORIS ARLENE WILLIAMS
STATESVILLE, NC AND GUILFORD, ME- Doris Arlene Williams, 92, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2010. She was born September 16, 1917 in Corea, ME, the daughter of Guy and Mura (Crowley) Francis.

Doris worked for many years as a cook in several restaurants in central Maine, retiring from the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Abbot.

She is survived by her daughter, Leona Edmonds of Statesville, NC; 2 brothers, Wilson and his wife, Jane of Florida, and Arnold of Steuben; a sister, Leona Coombs and her husband, Bob of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Williams of Guilford; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vincent; her son, Wayne; two grandchildren, Terry and Roger; a son-in-law, Roger; and her sister-in-law, Lou Ann. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services. A private family service will be held at a later date.
