DORIS MAY WINSLOW
DOVER-FOXCROFT- Doris May Winslow, 78, died February 26, 2009, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born April 14, 1930, in Boothbay Harbor, daughter of Sanford and Sadie (Powers) Winslow.

Doris was one of the first students at the Little Red School House, and later was one of the first to attend the Charlotte White Center in Dover-Foxcroft. For many years Doris attended the Guilford United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Bertha Jones of Boothbay Harbor; a nephew, Clinton William "Billy" Jones of Boothbay Harbor; special friends, Joe and Laura Auger of Abbot, Michelle Lord and her family of Sangerville, and the care givers from the Charlotte White Center.

A memorial service will be held at the Guilford United Methodist Church, 11AM Thursday, March 5, 2009, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. Friends may call at the church for an hour before the time of the service. Spring burial will be in the Abbot Village Cemetery.
