DOROTHY "DOT" H. STACEY
CORINNA & DEXTER – Dot Stacey, 76, died December 12, 2008 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born July 26, 1932 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, a daughter of Daniel and Julia (Takacs) Shuha. She graduated from Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield, New Jersey.

She was a homemaker in the family home town of Garwood, New Jersey for 75 years, having moved to Maine in September 2007. Dot enjoyed her many cats and enjoyed doing daily puzzles in the paper.

She was predeceased by her husband William, who died December 15, 2007; her son Tom Gallison, her sister Jane Schulties and her niece Carol Schulties. Dot is survived by children, Debra Shibe of Milltown, NJ, Richard Gallison of Atkinson, Leslie Steeg of South Plainfield, NJ, and Robert Gallison of Dexter; grandchildren, Robert Matos of South Amboy, NJ, and Joseph Matos of South Plainfield, NJ; a great grandson, Robert Matos, Jr. and a nephew Robert Schulties of Brooklyn, NY.

There will be no services. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby Neal, Dexter.
