DOROTHY MAY CROUSE
DEXTER - Dorothy May Crouse, 78, died March 12, 2001 at a Bangor health care facility. She was born May 6, 1922 at Worcester, MA, the daughter of Frederick and Aurora (Alston) Greene. She attended Worcester schools and then after moving to Dexter, attended N. H. Fay High School. In 1939, she married the late Keith W. Crouse. She worked for many years as a sales clerk for Rexall Pharmacy in Dexter. She was past president and member of the Dexter Junior Literary Club.

She is survived by 3 sons; Barry and his wife, Dodie Crouse of Abbot, Jere and his wife, Sharon Crouse of Chittenango, NY and Frederick Crouse of Sangerville; 6 grandchildren, Kathy, Shane, Lynn, Jennifer, Carrie, and Chelsie; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Due to an illness in the family, funeral arrangements will be delayed. Friends may call 4 to 6 P.M., Friday, March 30th, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, March 31th with the Rev. Lois Merrifield officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
