E. ARLENE LEWIS
PALMYRA—E. Arlene Lewis, 85, died April 5, 2009 at her residence following a long illness. She was born March 22, 1924 in Dexter, a daughter of George and Sadie (Morrill) Nutter. She was a member of the Palmyra Senior Citizens and drove a school bus for S. A. D. 48, retiring at age 75.

Arlene is survived by a daughter, Susan and husband Timothy Boulanger of Hartland; a dear friend, Lyle Chadwick of Palmyra; a brother, Harold and wife Millie Nutter of St. Albans; a sister, Dorothy Dubois of Ripley; 2 grandchildren, Nathaniel and wife Debbie Boulanger of West Baldwin and Matthew Boulanger and fiancée Sierra Hendricks of Corinna; 2 great grandchildren, Carter and Emma Boulanger; a special nephew, Wayne and wife Pam Peterson, Sr. of Palmyra; special great nephew and great niece, Wayne and wife Amanda Peterson, Jr. and their children, Chase and Hailey, and Kelly and husband J. D. Emerson and their children Zack and Luke of Winterport; a sister-in-law, Hilda Nutter of Hartland. She was predeceased by her husband, Clair “Duffy” Lewis; a brother, Walter Nutter; and a sister, Evelyn Preston.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, April 8th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, April 9th with Pastor Al. H. Worden officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland, later in the spring. Graveside committal services for E. Arlene Lewis, who died April 5, 2009, will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 16th, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland, with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
