Edith A. Moulton
NEWPORT – Edith A. Moulton, 78, died December 30, 2013 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Parkman March 13, 1935, a daughter of Walter and Louise (Allen) Stone. She had been employed as a nurse’s aide at Eastern Maine General Hospital (EMMC) and at Castine Hospital. She will also be remembered for her work in family genealogies and her cooking and sewing lessons.

Edith is survived by her husband of 60 years, Reginald C. Moulton; a son, Charles and wife Vicki Moulton, all of Newport; a daughter, Pamela and husband Thomas Nunes of Hollis; 2 brothers, Dwinal Stone of Bradford and William and wife Frances Stone of Waterville; 4 sisters, Agnes Pickard of Bowerbank, Janet Marshall of Douglas, MA, Virginia Larrabee of Caribou, and Beverly Cowing of Orneville; 5 grandchildren, Jacobie Pouliot, Clairissa and husband Michael Smith, Stephen Bemis, Brandi and Sarah Moulton; 2 great grandsons, Daniel Tuttle and Alexander Pouliot, and a great granddaughter Karleigh Smith. She will also be fondly remembered by William Bemis, who cooked her favorite peanut butter fingers; and the 2 children she babysat for, Jamie and David Schneller. She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Blanchard, formerly of Juniper, FL; and brother Harvey Stone, formerly of Orneville.

A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at North Newport Cemetery with Pastor Al Worden officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com
