Edith E. Stiffler
DEXTER – Edith Stiffler, 92, died January 8, 2013 at a Dexter healthcare facility. She was born August 10, 1920 at Wayland, MA, a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Cuthbert) Forbes. Edith was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church of Southboro, MA, and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of The Eastern Star in Hopkinton, MA. She retired as a dental assistant to Dr. Hallisey, moving to Maine in 2006.

She is survived by a son, Paul Stiffler of St. Albans; a daughter, Rebecca and husband Larry Greaves of Ripley; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Private burial will be in the Rural Cemetery, Southboro, MA. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 51 U. S. Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074, or to Dexter Healthcare, 64 Park Street, Dexter, ME 04953. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
