OBITUARIES

ELDEN H. PACKARD
PARKMAN, Elden H. Packard, 82, died September 22, 2004 at a Bangor hospital. He was born January 14, 1922, in Parkman, son of Harry and Myrtie (Clement) Packard. Elden was a WWII veteran and proudly served his country. He was solid as an oak tree and stood strongly in his beliefs. He will be sadly missed, not only by his family and friends, but also by “Shadow”, and the crew at KC’s store. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Priscilla (Smart) Packard.

He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Ronald Nadeau; and a son and his wife, Kenneth and Patricia Johnson all of Parkman; he was “Grampie Packard” to 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Friends may call 3-5 PM Friday, September 24, 2004 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St. in Guilford. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, at the Cambridge Memorial Garden Cemetery, with Pastor Grover White officiating. Donations may be made to the Beals Hospitality House, 1 VA Center, Togus, ME 04330, which benefits veterans and their families.
