ELIZABETH A. COPELAND
MONSON – Elizabeth A. Copeland, 85, died July 28, 2007 at a Bangor nursing home. She was born December 25, 1921 at Willimantic a daughter of Coney and Mildred (Knowles) Packard. She attended Willimantic schools and worked as a stitcher in area shoe shops for many years. Liz is survived by 2 daughters, Artella Moody of Willimantic and Charlotte and husband Ivan Higgins of Derby; a sister, Eila Packard of Brewer; step-son, Robert Copeland of Portland; 4 grandchildren, Jeffery and wife Julie, Jackie and husband Brian, Kevin and wife Lou Anne, and Kim Higgins; 5 great grandchildren, Charlie, Erick, and Tim Moody; Ashley and Brandon Higgins. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, brothers, Bruce and Lytle Packard, sisters, Marguerite Perry and Joyce Humphrey; her first husband, Everett Copeland and son-in-law, Orville Moody.

Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, August 5th, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street, Guilford, where friends may call from 1 to 3 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Willimantic.
