Ellen L. Davis
BLANCHARD- Ellen L. Davis, 80, died November 16, 2013, at C.A. Dean Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born January 6, 1933, in Bradley, the daughter of Walter and Flora (Lumbert) Nye.

On January 28, 1950, she married Lawrence Davis Sr., who predeceased her in 1998. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ellen loved to cook for her family and friends, and enjoyed taking care of all her children.

She is survived by her children, Louise Currier of Greenville, Doris Ward of Greenville, and Lawrence Davis Jr. of Blanchard; 9 grandchildren, Theresa Porter, Ivy Warman, Denise Pride, Bridget Hall, Carrie Clayton, Sara Crawford, Lawrence Davis III, Glen Davis, Aaron Davis, 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard.
