ELOISE "LOIS" M. JONES
CORINNA - Eloise "Lois" M. Jones, 77, passed away October 5, 2008 in Corinna at the home of her daughter. She was born November 27, 1930 in Washburn. Eloise was employed for 30 years at the Edward's Company in Pittsfield, retiring in 1995. She loved to cook and make candy and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. She was a past member of the Chatterbox Club in St. Albans.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna and husband Robert Davis of Corinna; 3 brothers and their wives, Raymond and Ardis Humphrey, Wayne and Joyce Humphrey, and Wendell and Christine Humphrey all of Washburn; a sister, Penny Richardson of Washburn; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her large extended Jones family which she loved, especially her 4 sisters-in-law, Faye Lawrence, Maxine Ervin, Marjorie Weeman and Shirley Hewins; as well as the Davis family whom she adored. She was predeceased by her mother, Nellie D. Humphrey, on January 8, 2004; a son, Robert Jones; 2 sisters, Marolyn Vashon and Maureen Rogers; and by her only grandchild, Brad Allen Davis on November 19, 1991.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 8th at Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna where funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. with Rev. Ellen Bridge officiating.
