DEXTER- Emily R. Robinson, 92, died August 19, 2008 at Hibbard Nursing Home. She was born July 26, 1916, in PEI, Canada, daughter of William and Lillian (Gaudet) Arsenault.

Emily loved being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a long time member of the Dexter United Methodist Church and the church choir, and was famous for her chicken pies and home-made rolls served at the church suppers. Emily worked for Dexter Regional High School in the cafeteria, and was one of the original founders of the Dexter Music Boosters. She was also a member and strong supporter of the Dexter Firemenís Auxiliary. She was a volunteer for many years for Meals for ME.

She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, and lifelong dancing partner, Ernest Robinson; 2 brothers, Edmund and Frederick; and 3 sisters, Julia, Mary, and Helen.

She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Robinson and his wife Geri of Cincinnatti, OH, Roger Robinson and his wife Tammy of Great Diamond Island; 3 daughters, Anne Bennett and her husband Barry of Dexter, Marie Nadeau of Hampden, and Beverly Robinson of Portland; 7 grandchildren, Licia Goodridge and her husband, Scott, Sonia Hall and her husband, Michael, Katherine, Scott, Nicholas, Parker, and Payson Robinson; 5 great grandchildren, Megan, Michaela, Abbie, Macie, and Marcus; nieces and nephews; her caretakers that she was close to- Vicki, Rose, Charlotte and Sheila; caring neighbors, Joe and Heidi Kinney, and Dale and Jeanette Easler.

Graveside services will be held 1 PM, Friday, August 22, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, with Pastor Lois Field officiating.
