OBITUARIES

ERNEST C. BROWN
HARMONY- Ernest C. Brown, 90, died August 19, 2008, at a Bingham nursing home. He was born in Garland, January 27, 1918, son of Ross and Olive (Coffin) Brown. Ernest served in the US Army, and then worked at the local textile mills, and as a woodsman, and farmer. He enjoyed wood crafts and loved his garden, which was enjoyed by all the family.

He is survived by 3 sons, Charles Bagley and friend, Sylvia Curtis, and Ralph Bagley and his wife, Linda all of Harmony, and George Bagley and his wife, Sharon of Wellington; 5 daughters, Elaine Bussell and her husband, Homer, and Marilyn Dillingham and Hal Currier all of Parkman, Ethel Pike and Pluma Pike, and her husband, Clair, all of Wellington, Evelyn Nichols of CT; 25 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Myra (Getchell) Brown; a son, Earl Brown; and a sister, Doris Cross.

Friends may call from 6 to 7 PM, Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 10 AM Friday, with Pastors Donald Booker and Levi Pratt officiating. Burial will be in the GrayCemetery in Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations to the United Baptist Church of Bradford, 461 Main Road, Bradford, ME 04410, or to Wellington Evangelical Community Church, P.O.
