FAITH V. JOHNSON
PLYMOUTH – Faith V. Johnson, 72, died August 1, 2006 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1934 at New Haven, CT a daughter of Ernest and Blanche (Handy) Jacobs. She attended Hand High School in Madison, CT. Faith and her husband George were married December 30, 1958, and they moved to Maine in 1973. She was a past member of the Plymouth Grange, and enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing cards and loved playing Parcheesi on her homemade board. She also kept over 100 photo albums.

She is survived by her mother of Madison, CT; a son, George and his fiancé Lisa Shaw of Plymouth; a daughter Maggie and husband Paul Tardiff of Waterville; a step-son, David Johnson and his wife Cassie of Charleston, SC; a brother Kenneth and wife Sharyl Jacobs of CT; 6 sisters, Alice and husband Richard Peck of Newport, Patricia and husband Harold Miller, Judith and husband Thomas Romano, Joyce and husband Steve Metzger, and Linda Ames, all of CT; and Kathleen Laffin of Warren; 12 grandchildren, Adam, Joshua, Nicholas, Brianna, Becky Jo, Libby, Alisabeth, David, Jonathan, Robert, Debbie, and Earl; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; her husband, George E. Johnson; 3 brothers, Ernest “Sonny”, Donald, and Ronald Jacobs; 2 sisters, Hazel Piscatelli, and Barbara McClymont.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, August 5th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where friends may call from 12 noon until the time of services.
