Florence Elizabeth "Betty" Werren
On November 14 2012, Florence Elizabeth “Betty” Werren went home to be with the LORD surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born July 7, 1931 in Wolfeboro NH to Elmer and Lillian Downing.

Betty married Richard Werren in 1949, and they were married for 51 years before his passing in 2000.

Betty had many hobbies and talents that she passed along to everyone that knew her. She was an avid knitter, loved sewing, and her fabulous recipes have been passed on thru generations. Betty was a lifelong passionate Red Sox fan.

Betty was predeceased by her son, Michael Werren, in 1988. She is survived by her children: Reece (Kathy) Werren, Kathleen Gesner, Christine Pratt, Joline Depew, Carroll (Susan) Werren, Rosemary (Richard) Servis, and William (Shelia) Werren. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; her sister Shirley Lehoux; her Aunt Luella, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at The Bible Speaks in South Berwick ME on Saturday, December 15th at 11 am, with an interment service to follow at a later date at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Red Sox Jimmy Fund.
