FLORENCE M. FOSS
MONSON, Florence M. Foss, 85, died October 17, 2004, at the C.A. Dean Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born August 11, 1919, in Mayfield, the daughter of Perley and Maggie (Gerald) Brown, one of nine children. She worked for many years for Hardwood Products Company in Guilford. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Foss.

She is survived by 2 of her 9 siblings, Louise Laney of Industry, Maine and Henry Brown of South Carolina; a son, Loy McAllister of So. Paris; a granddaughter and her husband, Debbi and Richard Gamache and great granddaughter and her husband, Kathy and John Cobb; 2 great-great grandchildren, Brianna and Jessica all of Greenville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, October 21, 2004, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street in Guilford with Pastor Jan Rhenow officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Abbot Village Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations to C.A. Dean Nursing Home, P.O. Box 1129, Greenville, ME 04441, to be used for the Secure Care System.
