OBITUARIES

FRANCES E. MITCHAM
Frances Mitcham CHARLESTON- Frances E. Mitcham, 77, lovingly passed away surrounded by her family, May 10, 2008, at EMMC in Bangor. She was born December 28, 1930, in Rockwood, daughter of Lewis and Marie (King) Munster. Her family meant a great deal to her and she loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, who will miss her greatly. She loved singing and playing her guitar. She owned and operated a boarding home in Charleston for many years. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her breads, pies, cakes and cookies. She also enjoyed the outdoors and activities such as gardening and fiddle heading.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ira A. Mitcham of Charleston; 4 daughters, Susan Douglass of FL, Wilhelmina Collins and her husband, Christopher of Corinth, Marie Clark and her husband, Roger of Kenduskeag, Frances Mitcham-Forslind and her husband David of NH; a son, James Mitcham of Charleston; 3 sisters, Clemintine Gilbert of Greenville, Wilhelmina Fountaine of Jackman, Julia Bendure of Levant; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Jo-Ann, Jessica, Jennifer, Jeanne, Christina, David, Kyle, and Jason; 4 great grandchildren, Joshua, Brianna, Kaitlyn, and Abigail; many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her pet dogs, Fannie, and Pepperann. She was predeceased by a son, Ira Allen Mitcham Jr.; a grandson, Mitchell Forslind; 6 brothers, Lewis, Martin, Steve, Joe, Bruce, and Fred; and 5 sisters, Florence, Isabelle, Tootie, Kay, and Celeste.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 PM, Wednesday, May 14th, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville with the Rev. Fr. Rob Reagan officiating. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
