FRANK VINAL RANDALL
NEWPORT & ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA – Frank Vinal Randall, 86, died October 4, 2003 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born July 14, 1917 at China, Maine a son of Frank B. and Ethel (Emmit) Randall. Frank served in the U. S. Army during World War II, stationed in the South Pacific. He was a well-known area farmer, and was also the proprietor of Randall’s Spraying Service, which is now operated by his son Frank. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by 2 sons, Richard F. and Frank E. Randall, both of Newport; a daughter, Francine and husband John Mayhew, Jr. of Pittsfield; a brother, Earl and wife Betty Randall of Pittsfield: 3 grand-daughters, Natalia Mayhew, Katie Randall, and Margo Mayhew.

At his request there will be no public visitation. A graveside committal service will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, 3 P.M. Friday, October 10th with the Rev. Charles Talmadge officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, c/o Mr. Theodore Robinson, Quartermaster, 557 Stetson Road, Exeter, ME 04435.
