FREDERICK J. TEMPLE
PALMYRA—Frederick J. Temple, 82, died March 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born November 18, 1925 in Etna, a son of Floriman and Madeline (Scoville) Temple. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Fred was a custodian for SAD #48, retiring is 1989 and was a member of the Pittsfield Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Esther of Palmyra; 2 sons, James and wife Anna Temple of Casco and Paul E. Temple of Lewiston; 2 daughters, Thelma and husband Steve Low of Rumford and Cynthia Welch of Dixfield; a brother, Gene and wife Dianna Temple of Detroit; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 brothers, Everett, Richard, Rodney and Donald Temple and 3 sisters, Kathleen, Agnes and Marian.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, March 30th at the Pittsfield Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Robert Herring officiating. Friends may call from 1 P.M. until time of services. Spring burial will be in the Warren Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
