Gary J. Sears
MONSON- Gary J. Sears, 61, died August 12, 2012, at the Maine Veteran's Home in Bangor. He was born August 18, 1950, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Edward and Thelma (Riesle) Sears.

He graduated from Monson Academy class of 1968. Gary then served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War with the 101st Artillery, and was a member of the VFW. Following the service he worked for over 30 years at True Textiles in Guilford.

He is survived by a son and his wife, Jason and Amy Sears of Fort Belvoir, Virginia; a brother and his wife, Richard and Gloria Sears of Monson; a sister and her husband, Donna and Russ Page of Ocala, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held from 2 to 4 PM, Saturday August 18th, at the home of Richard and Gloria Sears, 106 Indian Point Loop in Monson.

Private graveside services with military honors will be held at a later date at the Hillside Cemetery in Monson.
