GENE WESLEY CLEMENT
Gene Clement MILO- Gene Wesley Clement, 81, of Milo, passed away peacefully at Eastside Rehabilitation in Bangor on June 1, 2008. He was born in Milo, April 26, 1927, son of Wesley and Sara (Bradshaw) Clement. Sergeant First Class (retired), Gene was a veteran who served overseas in World War II. He served in the Connecticut Army National Guard the last seven years of his military career with twenty years of loyal service. When he retired and returned to Milo, he enjoyed all the free time it gave him to participate in his favorite game of golf. He enjoyed getting on the golf course with the group of golfers that loved the game as much as he did. He really enjoyed having his children come to visit and go around the course with him.

Gene was predeceased by his parents; and by brothers Albert Clement and Charles Clement, and his sister Alta Lamontagne. He is survived by Connie Clement, his wife of 22 years; his siblings, Catherine and her husband Sonny Ellis of Parkman, Bradshaw Clement and his companion Frannie of Orneville, Eleanor and her husband Bob Bezzini of Manchester, CT, Priscilla and John Clement of Milo, Dorothy and her husband Richard Burton of NY; and Betty Heath Clement, mother of his four children. He is also survived by his children, Edward Clement and his wife Amy of Bangor, Lieutenant Colonel Lemuel Clement and his companion Renee of Alexandria, VA, Ross Clement and his wife Amy of Berlin, CT and his daughter the Reverend Ellen Clement of Dalnatia, PA; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his second family, Thomas Webb and his friend Sharon of Richmond, Cliff Webb and his wife Jeanne of Seffner, FL, Rex Webb and his wife Suzy of Milo, Lori Aceto and her husband John of Cape Elizabeth, Robert Webb and his friend Tracy of Dover-Foxcroft, Roberta Rutter and her husband Gary of Turner. There are also thirteen step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the Social Workers, Doctors, PAs, nurses and therapists who worked to keep him comfortable and safe while he was at Eastside Rehab.
