GEORGE D. MORSE
CORINNA - George D. Morse, 69, died unexpectedly June 20, 2005, at his Corinna home. He was born March 11, 1936, in Carmel, the son of Ernest and Frances (Richardson) Adams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

George is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Dawn (Pennewell) Morse, of Corinna; his daughters, Rhonda and her husband, Dennis Kent, of St. Albans, Francine Woods of Dexter, Sue-Ann Mountain of Newport, Christine Brown of Newport, Brenda and her husband, Rick Cole, of Corinna; a son, Royce Brown and his wife, Heather, of Newport; one brother, Bob Morse and his wife, Emma, of Augusta, Sally Evens of New Hampshire who George always considered a sister; several half sisters and brothers. He is also survived by a special half sister, Connie Garnett, of Dexter. He was a loving grandfather to 14 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and a grandson, Damian Brown. George was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting and would talk about either one to any of his many cherished friends. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday June 21, 2005, at the Brown Funeral Home, 34 High St., Newport. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday June 22, 2005, at the North Newport Cemetery with Pastor Al Worden, officiating.
