GEORGE EDWARD STAPLES
DEXTER, George Edward Staples, 79, died May 11, 2001 at a Dexter health care facility. He was born April 4, 1922 in Wellington, son of Milford and Edna (Staples) Bemis Sr.

He is survived by two brothers, Junior Bemis of Stetson and Jacob Bemis of Pittsfield; a sister, Florence Brazier of Skowhegan; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 9:30 AM Thursday, May 17, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
