GERALDINE O. ALLEN
DEXTER- Geraldine O. Allen, 79, died April 5, 2010 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born April 18, 1930 in Calais, daughter of Whitfield and Catherine (Laking) Hayward.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Cathy Briggs of Portland, Vicki Briggs of Dexter, and Nora Meservey and her husband, Michael of Dexter; 3 sons, Alvin Briggs II of TX, Michael Briggs and his wife, Earlene of Dexter, and John Henry Mendes and his wife, Barbara of VT; 2 sisters, Mildred Burgess of Calais, and Nora Wakefield of Bangor; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
