GILBERTE "JILL" E. PELLETIER
GREENVILLE - Gilberte "Jill" E. Pelletier, 79, loving wife for more than 43 years of the late Louis P. Pelletier, died Jan. 24, 2004, after a prolonged illness. She was born Aug. 22, 1924, in St Francis, the daughter of Cyril and Christiann (Ouellette) Jandreau. Jill was an active member of the MTA and MEA through out her lifelong career as a teacher of the Greenville school systems. Her passion for teaching and willingness to help others has touched the lives of many people in the area. Jill was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the American Legion Auxiliary in addition to being employed at Squaw Mountain and the Greenville Inn for many years. Jill's love of music and participation in several local choirs and talent shows has been an inspiration to her family.

Jill is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Pelletier of Salisbury, Conn., and Martin Pelletier of Holderness, N.H.; five daughters, Christiann Fredricksen of Creston, Iowa, Mariette Sinclair of Greenville, Roberta Raasch of Pompano Beach, Fla., Jacqueline Redmond of York Beach, and Carole Hahner of Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Charlotte Pelletier, Jacqueline Virgalla and Jeanne Jalbert; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by many special friends.

There will be a gathering of friends and family in celebration of her life from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at the Black Frog Restaurant in Greenville. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Greenville Cemetery.
