GOLDIE M. WILLIAMS
NEWPORT - Goldie M. Williams, 50, died July 6, 2001 at a Bangor hospital. She was born September 17, 1950 at New York City, New York, the daughter of Goldy and Earnestine (Brown) Williams. She was employed at ICT, a subsidiary of MBNA North America. She attended the Pleasant Street Christian Church in Corinna and participated in the Central Maine cribbage tournaments. Goldie was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Lakisha and Kimberly Williams, both of Riviera Beach, FL; her companion, David Holmbom of Newport; a brother, James L. Jones of W. Palm Beach, FL; a sister, Carolyn D. Brown of W. Palm Beach, FL; 3 grandchildren, Sharhonda Williams, LaVoski Weeks and Tyrell Weeks. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Eddie and a brother, Gregory.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 8th, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. A funeral service will be scheduled at Hilltop Baptist Church, Riviera Beach, Florida, with the Rev. Griffin Davis officiating.
