GRACE N. TEDFORD
NEWPORT & CORINNA - Grace N. Tedford, 92, passed away April 20, 2001 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born March 8, 1909 at Plantation 21 (Washington County) Maine, the daughter of Chester and Maud (Polk) Jamison. On March 1, 1930, she married the Rev. Willis E. Tedford, who predeceased her November 17, 1985. Grace never worked outside of the home other than assisting her husband, who pastored churches in Maine and New York State. She was a member of the Exeter Full Gospel Church.

Grace is survived by 2 daughters, Betty and husband Lewis Matteson of Corinna, Gloria and husband, the Rev. Jerry Scott of Plaistow, NH; 2 grand-daughters, Wanda Dearborn of Exeter, and Michele Ross of Whitesboro, NY; 1 grandson, Mark Scott of Hillsdale, NJ; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Winifred Dorr of Woodland; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. Monday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 24th, at Exeter Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Chris Faloon officiating. Burial will be in Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna, later in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Exeter Full Gospel Church, P.O. Box 24, Exeter, ME 04435.
