Hazel A. (Jones) Gordon She was a member of the First Free Baptist Church since 1963, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and in the MOPS program. Hazel was a member of the Shirley B. Carter Post V. F. W. Auxiliary. She was employed seven years at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna, where she met her husband Don; six years at St. Dominic’s Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide; and over twenty years at Dexter Shoe Company. Hazel loved spending time with her family, flower gardening, reading, traveling, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by a son, Thomas and wife Rosalie Gordon of Newport; 3 daughters and their husbands, Lois and Jim Crawford of Brunswick, Donna and Chuck Patterson of Dexter, and Sandra and Richard Thomas of Dover-Foxcroft; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, February 23rd at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Leonard Reiss officiating.
