HAZEL Y. PEARL
SANGERVILLE, Hazel Y. Pearl, 64, died December 27, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born March 31, 1940, in Old Town, the daughter of Romeo and Gladys (Turner) Raymond. Hazel, along with her husband Dennis, operated D & H Trucking for several years. She was a Past President and member of Sangerville Fireman's Auxiliary, and was an Avon representative for the area for many years. Hazel loved children and baby sat for many of the kids going both to and from school. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved traveling down to Foxwoods from time to time, as she was able.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dennis Pearl of Sangerville; a son, Jeff Pearl and his fiancé, Angie Alfonso of Abbot; 3 daughters, Laurie and her husband, Brian Wharff of Sangerville, Susan Pearl of Guilford, and Crissy Pearl of Sangerville; 4 brothers, Dennis and his wife, Jean Raymond, John and his wife, Brenda Raymond, Guy and his wife, Chris Raymond all of Dover-Foxcroft, and Glen Raymond of Waterville; a sister, Julie and her husband, Cecil Drake of Newport; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Kristen, Alyssa, Macee; many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her loyal pet dog, Buffy.

There will be a time for family and friends to gather and remember Hazel, from 2-4 PM, Saturday, January 1, 2005, at the Mt. Kineo Masonic Lodge in Guilford. Spring burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Garland. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to a scholarship fund in Hazel’s name. Donations may be sent to the Highland Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 697, Guilford, ME 04443. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.

Graveside committal services will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at the Maplewood Cemetery in Garland, with Pastor A. Maurice Neal Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
