Helen Caroline Lewis She lived most of her life at Pineview Apartments making memorable friends. She attended the Jubilee Family Worship Center in Newport and had a deep faith in God. She reached out to many people with kindness and generosity. Helen was known for her love of cats. She had rescued many and loved them all. They brought her joy and much company. She flew alone to Washington State to visit her daughter and family, and went to Walt Disney World with her son and his family. She took great pleasure in camping, family car rides, boating or riding on a motorcycle. Helen enjoyed trying anything new to experience the joy she saw in her family. Helen was predeceased by her parents; husband, Paul Lewis; and her sister Virginia Crommitt. She is survived by three children, Glenn Lewis and wife, Dawn of Hartland, Garrett Lowery and wife, Jody of Orrington and Bethany “Beth” Humbyrd and husband Nathan of Tacoma, Washington; her special grandchildren, Clayton Lewis and his fiancée, Stacy Poulin, Dillion and Jordan Lowery, Andrew Clifford, Brianna and Blake Pinkham and Branch Humbyrd; her sister, Linda Raven of Clinton; and brother, LeRoy “Leamon” McFarland and wife, Geneva of Onawa; several nieces, nephews, and special friends, especially Darlene and Grace. She will be loved and missed dearly. A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 5 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Jubilee Family Worship Center, 63 Elm Street, Newport.
