HENRY MADORE
GREENVILLE, Henry Madore, 84, formerly of Greenville, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, October 1, 2007, after a long illness. He was born in Greenville, November 1, 1922. The son of Henry and Addie (Findley) Madore. Henry attended Greenville schools before going to work at a young age at the North Woods Logging Camps where his father was head chef. Henry worked at Atlas Plywood Company in Greenville for many years before moving on to Moosehead Gas Company working as a propane delivery person and plumber. Henry also worked at the Cottage Greenhouse for a short period of time and finished his career at Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital as a maintenance worker. Henry enjoyed woodworking projects, snowmobiling, fishing, spending time with family and friends and more recently spending time with his great granddaughters.

Henry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary (Taylor) Madore of Augusta; one son, Gerald H. Madore and his wife, Faith, of Manchester; granddaughters, Carla Noyes and husband, Matt, of Gardiner; Kimberly Jackson and husband, Kenneth, of West Gardiner; and great-granddaughters, Madyson Taylor Noyes and Tavia Katherine Noyes of Gardiner. Henry is also survived by close family friend, Yolande Graham and her family. Henry was predeceased by his parents; his son, Stephen; and his daughter, Sharon.

The family would like to thank the staff at Maine General Glenridge Rehabilitation for their loving care and concern for Henry. Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, October 5, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Open Bible in Greenville. The funeral service will follow visiting hours at 2:45 p.m. Interment will follow at the Greenville Cemetery.
